Open Day at the Engine Fields - Sunday July 11th

Following the success of our Open Day in 2003 we are replacing our normal July working party with an Open Day running from 10:00 - 3:00 where you will have the chance to:

meet the Friends over a cup of coffee and discover what our plans are for the park
take a tour around the park to see what has been done
take a peek at some of the smaller and stranger wildlife that inhabits the park
take part in our wildlife survey of the mammals and amphibia of Aireborough

If you are a regular visitor to the park why not make a point of bringing along a few friends and showing them round the Park? If you haven't visited the park before, what's kept you away?

Parking at:

beside the Old Mill Shop off Kirk Lane (limited numbers)
Park View off Henshaw Lane (limited numbers)
The Industrial estate beyond Homebase - access to Engine Fields by following footpath through the wood a short way past Homebase or following the rough path down hill and across the bridge (where road turns sharp right)

Once in the Park look out for the Sand coloured Range Rover
