Working Parties

Take place on the 2nd Sunday of each month between 9:30 and 12:30. The working party starts from the car park beside the Old Mill on Miry Lane. Anyone arriving after the start time should head for the sound of working. Please bear in mind that if a lot of equipment needs to be delivered to the park the organisers may arrive a little late.

Although we plan what we intend to do well before each working party events often conspire to change these plans. For example it is not practical to cut the meadow when it is wet or planting bulbs when the soil is frozen hard. Also some minor crisis at the park may mean the scheduled work is delayed or postponed while the problem is dealt with.

Working parties for 2006/2007 are as follows:
Date of Working Party Main Activity

June 11th Cutting back vegetation and planting in new amphibian pond
